This summer, beginning June 1, Galvin Growth Group will be offering a 6-session workshop for pre-teens and teens to help the navigate adolescence and master social skills. These skills not only enhance their ability to communicate and build relationships but also bolster their self-confidence and emotional well-being.

Our 6 lessons will focus on:

Understanding Social Cues

Objective: Develop Awareness of Nonverbal Cues and Their Impact on Communication

Social cues are the unspoken elements of communication that help us interpret others’ feelings and reactions. They include body language and tone of voice, which are critical for understanding and conveying messages effectively.

Effective Communication

Objective: Enhance Verbal Communication Skills and Active Listening Abilities

Emotion Regulation

Objective: Develop Strategies for Managing Emotions in Social Situations

Emotional intelligence is key to handling social interactions gracefully.

Building Relationships

Social Etiquette and Manners

Objective: Learn the Importance of Social Etiquette and Manners in Various Settings
