Every child and teen faces challenges but they don’t have to navigate them alone.
At Galvin Growth Group, we work with children and adolescents to help them better understand themselves, build confidence, and develop skills they’ll carry into adulthood. We also work closely with parents to create lasting, meaningful change both in and outside of sessions.
Helping kids navigate what they’re going through
Tools they can carry with them long-term
Real progress happens both in and outside of sessions
We take an individualized approach to working with children and teens. While many of our therapists are trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), each clinician brings their own experience and style to best support your child.
We focus on building a strong, trusting relationship so your child feels safe, understood, and supported.
Our team uses a range of evidence-based approaches depending on your child’s needs:
Parent involvement is a core part of our approach. We include parent sessions to keep caregivers informed, aligned, and equipped to reinforce progress at home. Real, lasting change happens both inside and outside of the therapy room.
Play therapy uses play as the primary medium for children to express themselves, process emotions, and work through challenges. It is particularly effective for younger children who may not yet have the verbal skills to articulate their feelings.
Signs that a child may benefit from therapy include persistent sadness or irritability, significant changes in behavior or school performance, excessive worry, difficulty making friends, or any behavior causing distress for your child or family. Our team is happy to consult with you to help determine the best next step.

Share what your child is experiencing and ask any questions.

We’ll match your child with a therapist who aligns with their needs and personality.
