MA, TEMPORARY LIMITED LICENSE PSYCHOLOGIST
Troy has earned his master’s degree in clinical psychology from The Michigan School of Psychology. Troy began his career working in the Detroit Public school district for social-emotional development before transitioning to outpatient therapy to focus more on mental health issues. Through group and individual therapy, he is most experienced in mood disorders, trauma, and emotional regulation. He uses humanistic and psychopathological approaches to better understand his clients.
Troy enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching football, and attending comedy clubs. He loves to exercise and walk his dog Tuxedo.
Troy’s clinical approaches include CPT and CBT therapy, play therapy and group therapy. These assist with mood disorders, trauma, disruptive disorders, and neurocognitive disorders.
