Connor earned his bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Michigan in 2023. He currently studies Counseling Psychology at Wayne State University and is set to graduate December 2025 with his Masters Degree. In addition to his coursework and time at Galvin Growth Group, Connor also works as a behavioral technician for children with autism, where he utilizes play therapy to help his clients learn and master skills involving communication, social interaction, and self-care.
Connor grew up in Commerce Township and lives in White Lake where he enjoys spending time with his friends, family, girlfriend, and two dogs on the lake where he plays golf, board games, and soaks up the sun. He loved playing soccer as a child, and now looks forward to his weekly soccer league games in Novi with some of his closest friends. He enjoys staying active regardless of weather or season, and loves nothing more than spending quality time with those he cares about. Connor also takes passion in his community and gives back to it when he can through supporting small businesses, donating food and clothes, and attending social events at his local library in White Lake. He loves his hometown very much and loves giving back to it even more.
Connor specializes in working with children and adolescents experiencing anxious feelings, depressive moods, low motivation, poor emotional regulation, and difficulties navigating social lives. His therapeutic approach blends cognitive-behavioral theories with humanistic approaches in order to best work alongside his clients with positive guidance and reason. He aims to guide clients toward emotional stability and resilience by helping them develop effective coping strategies and gain a more compassionate, nuanced understanding of themselves. Connor also utilizes his background in ABA to support children and teens with autism, but he also finds that ABA approaches can benefit children and teens experiencing a variety of challenges. His familiarity with younger generations helps him relate and form alliances with the children and teens he works with, fostering an open and accepting atmosphere in which his clients can express themselves freely and comfortably.
