We are seeking a Psychologist to join our growing practice with a focus on conducting psychological evaluations. This would be an Independent Contractor position with flexible hours and we are open 7 days a week. Our practice provides a variety of services including therapy to individuals, couples, and families, as well as psychological evaluations, consultations to schools, parent training, group therapy & workshops. Our clientele includes both children and adults.
A background in School Psychology or Neuropsychology is ideal due to the emphasis on assessment for this position. The preferred candidate is a Psychologist with a Full License. Expertise in psychoeducational or neuropsychological testing is required. Requirements:
- Doctorate Degree in Psychology or a recognized related field from an accredited college/university
- Licensed Psychologist
- Experience in conducting psychological evaluations
- Proof of Liability Insurance
- Knowledge best practices in psychology and psychological assessment
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical and consultation services in accordance with the policies and procedures of the American Psychological Association (APA)
- Provide clinical services such as the diagnosis of mental illness, psychological testing/assessment, report writing, provision of evidence-based recommendations, and other clinical services typically considered within the scope of a psychologist’s practice while under the supervision of a Licensed Psychologist.
- Complete at least 10 billable hours per week
- Availability in the daytime on either weekdays or weekends
- Ensure that services provided are in accordance with relevant ethical and professional standards of care
- Participate in case staffing or care management meetings involving clinical cases
- Complete and maintain electronic paperwork such as progress notes, client files, billing/insurance documentation, psychological evaluation reports
- Maintain an electronic calendar of schedules and appointments
- Communicate and meet with the Clinical Director for supervision/oversight and case consultation
- Other tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned as necessary

Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate for billable hours and for other responsibilities as agreed upon in the Independent Contractor Agreement. Referrals, a billing service, marketing, and many other valuable services along with a beautifully furnished office environment are also provided. Clinical supervision is available.
