Angie built a diverse foundation of experience working with individuals across the lifespan. She worked in schools supporting students from kindergarten through high school and spent several years working in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA),  partnering with families to strengthen behavioral, emotional, and developmental skills. Angie also served as a vocational supervisor and coordinator in an adult transition special education program, helping individuals develop social skills, increase independence, and achieve meaningful vocational goals.

Outside of the therapy room, Angie enjoys spending time with her family, caring for animals, volunteering, and attending live music events.

CLINICAL APPROACH

Angie believes therapy is a collaborative process built on compassion, authenticity, and respect. Her goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences, discover their strengths, and develop the tools needed to achieve meaningful and lasting change. Angie uses a collaborative, strengths-based approach that recognizes each client’s unique experiences, abilities, and goals. She values authenticity and curiosity in the therapeutic process; helping clients better understand themselves, recognize patterns that may be contributing to difficulties, and explore new ways of thinking and approaching challenges.

Her therapeutic style is individualized and integrates evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based interventions, DBT-informed skills, and psychoeducation. Angie helps clients understand the connections between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical strategies for emotional regulation, coping, problem-solving, executive functioning, confidence, and healthier patterns of responding.

She has experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral concerns, executive functioning difficulties, emotional regulation challenges, family conflict, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. In addition to therapy, Angie provides psychological assessments that help identify cognitive, emotional, behavioral, attentional strengths and challenges to assist in individualized treatment recommendations.

Angie’s goal is to help clients gain greater insight into themselves and their worldview, to recognize their capabilities, and develop skills they can carry beyond the therapy room as they navigate life and work toward the changes that matter to them.
